I have the navigation skills of a homing pigeon. Well. Almost. At one or two hundreds km away from the originally planned destination...

Demandez-moi d'aller quelque part et j'irai. Enfin. N'importe où. Je reformule : demandez-moi d'aller n'importe où et j'irai là-bas!

En language nomade, son nom signifie "roulement de tonerre dans la vallée", enfin cest ce qu'on lui fait croire... Le sombre Victor le soir, gentil Clochette le matin et placide Emile la journee. C'est notre joker multi-faces!

In nomadic language, its name means "thunder roll in in the valley", well that's what we try to make it believe...Dark Victor on the evenings, nice Clochette on the mornings and placid Emile during the days. He is our multi-faces joker! 

En langage nomade, son nom signifie "cascade furieuse dévalant la montagne", enfin cest ce qu'on lui fait croire... C'est clairement le bebe de la troupe, toujours pret a nous accueillir d'un henissement enjoue et a faire un bond au moindre cailloux suspicieux.

In nomadic language, its name means "furious waterfall riding down the mountain", well that's what we try to make it believe... Clearly, it is the baby of our troup. Always greeting us with a enthusiastic whinny and ready to jump up at the first suspicious rock.

En langage nomade, son nom signifie "pigeon de la steppe à la vue affûtée", enfin cest ce qu'on lui fait croire... Monie, Monie... Aussi appele Momo ou Monique. Adoreur des gratouilles du matin et aussi la palme du cheval le plus relou de l'histoire...! Mais c'est aussi notre prefere.

In nomadic language, its name means "Pigeon from the steppe with a sharp sight", well that's what we try to make it believe... Monie, Monie... also named Momo or Monique. Adorer of the morning scratches and also winner of the most annoying horse on the history...! But we love him the most.

En langage nomade, son nom signifie "loup des steppes", enfin cest ce qu'on lui fait croire... On l'appelle aussi Mac Ben ou Big Mac Ben, selon la quantite de marmottes ingerees. Notre plus fidel compagnom,protecteur des nuits etoilees et chasseur de marmottes aguerri.

In nomadic language, its name means "Wolf of the steppe' well that's what we try to make it believe... We also call him Mac Ben or Big Mac Ben, depending of the quantity of the marmots ingested. Our most faithfull companion, protector of the starfull nights and fierce mar;mot hunter.

Couturière de haut vol, elle peut réparer une tente avec du fil nylon n'importe où. Du désert Kazakh aux folies de Toyota rien ne l'arrête. Elle est la championne incontestée des prières à l'univers et grâce à elle nous évitons orages et autres désagréments et tout nous tombe du ciel à sa demande. Elle est la bonne fée de la caravane.

Excellent seamstress, she can fix a tent with a tiny nylon thread almost anywhere.  From the Kazakh desert to the craziest Toyota ride, nothing seems to stop her. She is the undisputed champion of prayers to the universe. Thanks to her we manage to avoid all storms and other kinds of inconveniences and everything seems to fall directly from the sky at her simple  request. She is the little good fairy of the caravan.

Clémentine a amené avec elle un peu du désert marocain avec son style touareg. Fin gourmet, elle a le don pour élaborer tous les soirs des plats différents et nous régaler les papilles. Bourreau des coeurs Kazakhs, elle ne laisse pas la steppe et ses habitants indifférents derrière son passage.

Clementine brought with her a bit of the Moroccan desert with her Tuareg style.  Fine gourmet, she has a real gift to elaborate every night different dishes, spoiling our taste buds.  Real heart breaker for the Kazakh people, she leaves no-one insensible in the steppe!

Coline est capable de repérer la moindre plante comestible et elle agrémente les tisanes du soir avec ce qu'elle glane autour du campement du soir. Coach sportif équin inégalable, elle hisse Momo et son chargement jusqu'en haut des montagnes.

Coline is able to spot the tiniest edible plant and she upgrades the evening herbal teas with basically everything she is able to glean around the campsite.  She is the best horse sport coach and even manages to cheer Momo to the top of the mountains while carrying his heavy pack.

Damien c'est la force tranquille de la caravane. Il chuchote à l'oreille des animaux et sait les apaiser d'une simple caresse. En tant que seul représentant masculin bipède de la troupe, c'est aussi lui qui a la chance de partager la vodka de l'amitié au petit déjeuner... Pas de chance !

Damien is the quiet strength of the caravan.  He whispers in the animals' ears and knows how to appease them with a simple pet.  As the only male representative of the biped part of the caravan, he is also the one who has the great honor of sharing the friendship vodka glass at breakfast ... No luck!

Élise et Léo, je les connais depuis toujours. Je leurs doit d'ébouriffants galops sur la plage, de terrifiantes histoires d'horreurs et l'inquiétante notion qu'une tartine de Nutella n'est pas censée avoir plus épais de Nutella que de pain ! Et puis il y a ce vieux rêve,  celui d'un voyage en eurasie au rythme des chevaux… Quand j'ai appris qu'elles travaillaient à ce que ce rêve devienne réalité j'ai posée deux questions : où et quand ? Pas besoin de plus d'info, ces deux là je les suivraient au bout du monde les yeux fermés… Et c'est bien ce que je m'apprête à faire, le 11 sept j'arrive à almaty. Objectif : retrouver la caravane quelques part au milieu de nulle part, direction l'inconnu. D'expériences c'est là qu'on fait les plus belles rencontres!

Elise and Leo, I've known them forever.  I owe them never endings gallops on the beach, terrifying horror stories and the disturbing notion that a slice of Nutella is not supposed to have thicker layer of Nutella than bread!  And then there is this old dream, that one of a trip across Eurasia following the rhythm of horses ... When I discovered that they were about to make this dream come true I asked only two questions: where and when?  No need for more info, I would follow these two at the end of the world with my eyes closed ... And that's what I'm about to do! On the 11th of september I'll arrive at Almaty, Kazakhstan. Only 2 simple objectives: find the caravan somewhere in the middle of nowhere and then head towards the unknown.  In every experiences lay the most beautiful meetings!
